Frequently asked questions.

What is Ketamine?

Ketamine is a fast-acting FDA-approved anesthetic that has a long history of use in medicine. It is a preferred choice in operating rooms & clinics across the nation due to its strong safety profile. Ketamine has been used around the world for over 50 years.

Is Ketamine Safe?

Ketamine infusion therapy gives the patient small doses of Ketamine over an extended period of time. Therefore, risks are minimal. Patients are under constant monitoring by medical professionals. Ketamine has FDA approval as an anesthetic and is also being used as an emerging treatment for depression & anxiety.

How long is an Infusion?

You will need to set aside 1 1/2 hours for your entire visit - 45 minutes for ketamine infusion, with 15-30 minutes for recovery (this amount time varies from person to person). Feel free to relax in our peaceful waiting space as you unwind from your infusion.

What to expect at a Ketamine session?

The Infusion will be administered in your own private treatment room. Each treatment room is unique and has been carefully designed with the patient in mind to feel comfortable and safe. This allows you to fully maximize the positive effects of Ketamine infusion therapy. During the infusion, you may experience a mild euphoric feeling, or as some describe it as an “out of body experience” or a feeling of disassociation. After the infusion the effects (disorientation) of the Ketamine wear off quickly, leaving the clinic with a feeling of a sense of relief from stresses caused by depression, anxiety, PTSD.
