During the Infusion

It is very common to feel a sense of “floating” and deep relaxation during the infusion giving patients a relief some have not experienced in years. Most patients find this experience to be very enjoyable and rewarding.

Ketamine has an amazing safety profile and side effects are rare. If any side effects are encountered such as elevated blood pressure or nausea our highly trained staff is monitoring you at all times and will step in to quickly to assist you.

Most effects of the Ketamine dissipate within 15-20 minutes after the infusion. Some patients may experience feeling more tired than usual for a few hours following their visit.

*Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic, not a hallucinogen

Studies have to shown that Ketamine infusion therapy has a success rate of up to 65-70% in the treatment of disorders such as treatment resistant depression, PTSD and numerous chronic nerve pains. Most Ketamine infusion therapy patients continue with booster infusions to prolong the positive effects of the Ketamine treatment. Booster infusions are typically scheduled once every 2 to 6 weeks after the initial six treatments have been completed.
